Being positive in a world so set to get us down is a worthy act of rebellion. Thank you for sharing another wonderful post and for such kind, supportive words on the zine I made.

Thank you for sharing your art. And, your ideas do create art. Not casual art, but art with meaning. You're stimulating my noggin. BTW, I am visiting Bainbridge Island for the first time ever in two weeks. And yes, your homeland is sliding into authoritarianism. Thankfully, there's art to help us cope, and in your own way, you're fighting back.

Thank you, Robert. I appreciate your assessment and am loving the curatorial eye on your account. Art is essential fuel and sustenance, certainly. There's some great art and natural beauty on Bainbridge. I miss it very much — please have a beer at Bainbridge Brewing on Winslow Ave (main street) for me. Why are you traveling there?

We're headed to visit the Oregon coast on vacation, then up to the Port Angeles, Bainbridge Island and Victoria regions for various family and just some new explorations. I do expect some nice photo opps. Hope to make that brewery!

One of the great memories in my life was walking out of the small apartment in Paris on Christmas Day maybe 10 years ago. I was in the 6th. On near every light stand along Blvd St Germain, and down several side streets was a handmade painting of Marianne. France's symbol of Liberté, Égalité and Fraternité. Each was about 11x14 inches in size. There must have been more than 50 of them. Each was a water colour. Each one different. I took one home. It is now framed and hanging here in front of me. A call to arms, as only the French can personify it. Lovely post!
